Reporting and Writing
From my freshman journalism class to senior year as the Web Editor-in-Chief of The Miegian, writing has always been something I have enjoyed.

Though my roles on The Miegian have evolved as more than just a staff writer, I always remember writing as the initial reason as to why I began my journalism journey.
​
The power of words is revealed as the interviewees' emotions are shared in a story. As a reporter, I take the time to show the develop the impact of a story. This is because every word matters. This year, I have juggled the task of editing all the staff member's stories, as well as writing my own.
My work
From gathering statistical data to asking for follow-up interviews or talking to multiple people to develop the story, writing has become a passion of mine.
