Opinion
I remember being told at a young age that everyone has their own opinions. Yes, that is true, but in writing I found that an opinion is only valid if it is supported with facts and evidence. I can't complain about something I don't like if I have no way of proving myself.

WING IT ON
For months, as I drove past this building every day to and from school, I saw it transform from a Pride Cleaners to a Wing Stand restaurant. When it was open, I knew I had to try it. This food review gives you my honest opinion on what I liked and didn't, as well as the price paid for each item.

Hope for the Future
It was circling the news; I heard my family talking about it and saw opinions from many sources in the media -- there was a COVID-19 vaccine. I remember my parents checking daily, wondering when it would be our turn to receive the vaccine. Then, that day came. Here, I highlight the process I took to get the vaccines and my side effects that came with it.

Put in the effort
In each print issue, there is an unsigned editorial. The two Print Editor-in-Chiefs and I worked on this editorial about the importance of joining an academic community. In the 2022-23 school year, academic communities were introduced. In the article, we talk the process of joining one of the seven communities and the how a person who joins will have an academic distinction at graduation.

SHOW THEM YOUR RESPECt
As I have attended many sporting events, I have seen the difference in the way girls are supported than boys. During one of the first girls basketball home games of the season, I saw the small student section with claps only when they scored. One week later, at a boys away game, the student section was full and on their feet. I saw national coverage on social media about the difference female athletes are treated in comparison to men. That is when I knew there needed to be a change, so I approached the editors about covering this topic. This was published in our print issue as an unsigned editorial. The two Print Editor-in-Chiefs and I worked on this.
